How Can We Help?
Live Shark Tank
Estimated Time: Twelve to fourteen 45-minute class periods
Simulation Summary: In this simulation, students conduct market research, start a business, and present an entrepreneurship plan to a team of adults from the community who will pose as sharks. The simulation should be comparable to a shark tank episode in which a team of students will select a product or service to sell and then try to convince the sharks to fund their business. A video tutorial for this plan is available on YouTube.
Teacher Developed Setting(s): You are an entrepreneur who has created a business around a product. You will present your business plan to potential investors (sharks), requesting funding in exchange for a percentage of your business. Based on your presentation, the sharks will decide to make a deal or not.

I loved this idea when it was presented in the CCA training and want to use it in my class. However, I am unable to access the link. Any ideas? This is a great resource that I want to use!
