Students research cybersecurity topics and create a website, game, interactive presentation, or brochure to educate younger students about cybersecurity and how to keep themselves safe from hackers and others who may be trying to scam them.

Students examine fruit and vegetable farms to discover the amount of manual labor required to plant, grow, and harvest food. They research the business economics of farm management, the plant life cycle, and the requirements and challenges faced in reducing manual labor through mechanization or robotics.

Students use the engineering design process to develop a first aid device to stabilize and alleviate pain or further injury from broken limb or sprain in the backcountry until a medical professional can be reached. Students will investigate, develop, and use composite materials within the design process.
