Estimated Time: Eleven to thirteen 45-minute class periods 

Project Summary: Students conduct surveys with their peers at school about healthy food products they think will be marketable for school concessions. Based on surveys and research, they will choose an in-demand product to test in class and then present to a guest panel as a healthy choice. They will make connections between their project, careers, and the pathways/clusters that will help lead to the careers. 

Driving Question (Teacher Guided, Student Constructed): How can we create a healthy snack that students at our school will choose to eat?
